About Us

Hello, and welcome to Split Mountain Doodles near Salt Lake City, Utah!
We're a family-run Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, and Cockapoo dog breeding business built on trust, hard work, and lots of puppy love.

We want our quality Doodle puppies to become part of your family tradition.

Here's the Fur Story...

Chase and I both grew up casually breeding our family dog about once a year. It was a highlight of both of our childhoods. We never imagined how man's best friend would become such an important part of our family life in our future.

A Ruff Beginning?

In 2015, our family of five at the time moved to Idaho Falls and bought our first home. Chase decided that, naturally, it was time to get our first family dog. I wasn’t so sure about the idea because I didn’t really love dogs. He talked me into it by saying we could have puppies when she was old enough. I mean, who doesn’t love puppies?!

Howl I Live Without You?

Sky came home with us just after Thanksgiving. I quickly fell in love with her, and when we got the news that her mom was available, we jumped on the opportunity to buy her as well. By Christmas of 2016, we had two beautiful Goldendoodle litters! Of course we were madly in love with each puppy and ended up keeping one, Roxy, to add to our family.

Pup and Running Our Breeding Business

Two moves and two more kids later, our family of seven now lives in the heart of Utah's West Haven farm country. We love our home and the space that we have for our dogs to run and play. I was able to design the perfect area to raise puppies. I love every part of raising puppies from getting them pregnant to birthing the puppies, the doggie door training and sprucing them up for beautiful pictures. It is important to me to have a relationship with every single puppy. I spend countless hours getting to know them, their quirks, and their personalities.

We Love Our Dog-gone Doodles!

We are very careful to make sure each puppy is well-socialized with early neurological stimulation including being held in different positions and on a variety of surfaces—very used to noises and children. Our family loves playing with puppies and watching them grow. We paws-itively love our Doodles and are sure you will love your Split Mountain Doodle, too!
